Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away…oh wait, that’s not how it goes. Well, to be honest, no one actually knows who had the brilliant idea of creating duct tape roses, but what matters is that they exist. And they exist in a variety of colors, for a variety of people, for a variety of occasions!

Duct tape roses can be given to anyone – that’s the beauty of them. Sometimes real flowers are just too cheesy, or too predictable, or too personal. And unfortunately, real flowers have this tendency of…well…dying. Isn’t that an awful message to send to someone, now that you think about it? “I love you, and to show you how much I love you, here are some flowers that will die in 2 – 5 days.” How romantic, right? Wrong. Now, we’re not saying that duct tape roses are the most romantic gift you can send or receive, but they’re more thoughtful than a pre-arranged bouquet of grocery-store-bought flowers, aren’t they?
And, better yet, duct tape roses are perfect to give to guys. Spare them the awkwardness of having to carry around a bouquet of girly, pretty flowers, and give them some duct tape roses instead. “Cool,” they’ll think. “I have the best girlfriend/wife/friend/student/second-cousin-twice-removed ever.” Trust us. Duct tape roses are fun and unique!

Okay, so you’re not quite convinced yet. That’s okay. We’ve yet to discuss when would be the perfect opportunity to give someone some duct tape roses, although it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
